Kodak's 6.1MP camera with 10x optical zoom !

I am not an expert on digital cameras but I get lot of requests to give my 'comments' on them. One of the most exciting cameras which are easily available in India, is the Kodak EasyShare V610. It is a 6.1MP camera, with 10x optical zoom !

And yes, there is no movement of lens outside the cameras body. That’s really great I think. You can see images of this camera here.

To add to it, it also has Bluetooth , which means you can transfer your images wirelessly. It uses Kodak's Li-Ion batteries. I mean those similar to mobile phone ones and not the normal AA size one.

Price in India is around Rs.23000. Add a couple of thousands more to it for memory card. But the same camera is available in US for around $325, which means ... :-)

Here are some reviews you may want to read before going to your nearest shop to see one:

    Hi Ashish,

During surfing I came to know about your page http://www.ashishware.com/Transl.shtml It is very informative for people who wants to write in their own language. I would like to give introduction of one type pad developed by me. It is working the same way as "The way you speak, the way you type". It supports 8 Indian scripts. You can find more information at http://www.vishalon.net/. (or
http://demo.vishalon.net/HindiTypePad.htm) This is online tool so nobody needs to download anything. Moreover with a single line of code, it can be integrated with any existing website. If you can give introduction of this online type pad on your above mentioned Web page, it would be great help to me to promote Indian language and it can be a great resource for people who wants to do something for their language. I tried to contact you on your email, but it failed so I am writing a comment.

    Thanks.

  2. Hi Vishal ,
That was awesome. I checkout your site and I will definitely write about your page on my website.
I have some questions and need one favour:

1] Is your software paid, free or opensource. I just need the info to write about it.
I would advice that you please keep a link to licence document on your page and
    copyright notice is must.

2] Did you adapt the transliteration scheme from somewhere or did you come up
    with your own.

3] In case your product is non-free/paid , you may want to advertise on my website for a very small fee
which can be helpful for both of us ;-). Its just an advice ;-).

Also I would be really happy if you could add a link to my website somehwere in the quick links
section or somewhere on your place, so that it is visible to search engines and visitors.
